The studio is one place that we strive to celebrate our own identities, cultures, and values. Unfortunately many people in our society have sacrificed some portion of their own culture for the sake of being "American." Being "othered," as it's called now, has been the subject of many stories coming to the surface around our country. This phenomena has happened or will happen to all of us at some point in our lives.
